Sunrise today: 7:41 am. Sunset: 3:51 pm. But even during the eight hours of daylight, the sun is so low that mountains shield us from it most of the time and we live in a world of blue-grey shade. This is what we had today at high noon: the peek of the sun's upper eyelid above the ridge.
