Fish truck

"I'm here. Just yell or something."

So reads the sign on the fish truck, which parks near the main intersection in town about every 4th Wednesday and sells cod, halibut, salmon and a variety of seafood.

You know I'm going to ask a question! How far away do the cod and halibut come from? I'm guessing it's quite a distance. Is the fish frozen? (I LOVE halibut. My grandfather used to catch it when he had a trawler fishing the North Sea)

Yes, a long way away. The cod and halibut are from the Altantic I think. The salmon is from the Pacific, from along the BC coast, a day's drive away. And yes, it's all frozen. Wild Pacific salmon is the only "meat" I eat, so I'm not very knowledgeable about the rest.
